Why is it women find it so hard to relax? An over-active sense of responsibility, that's why. Working, cooking, cleaning, washing, ironing, caring, shopping, tidying . . . we're no longer chained to the kitchen sink but we still seem to be wearing the rubber gloves. So here's a thought - what about your responsibility to yourself? You need to put your feet up. You deserve a bit of pampering. It's your right to see your friends when you want. And if you haven't done at least one of these today, it's about time you did something about it.
Time to tip the life balance in your favour
Take some time out each day to do something you enjoy. Here are a few ideas to start you off:
Run the bath, pop in some bubble bath or one of those fizzy bath bombs, pour yourself a cup of relaxing tea (with Canderel of course ), light a few candles - preferably perfumed ones - and put a big, fluffy towel on the radiator to warm. Get a magazine - and step in for a nice long wallow.
Instead of spending your lunch hour dashing round the shops, paying bills or getting your dry cleaning done, have a stroll around the park. Flop down on the grass and read a book if you fancy.
Book the remote, choose a DVD and invite a few girlfriends over. Make some delicious Canderel cocktails (see recipes) and enjoy a delicious treat of Canderel chocolate while hogging the sofa all night. Bliss.
